Got service request response letter back from NSC today. ( It says our records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this caused a longer processing time.)has anyone got this same response from NSC?

its hard to get answers any more on this site, i remember couple years ago if you post a question u could get lots of help people will direct you to a link that will help you now all you get is 100 people view your post with no response, but if you post something like my wife is leaving me or i dont want to be with my husband any more you will get a million responses

Well that's society nowadays.

But I assume most ppl that read your post really don't know. You can't rely on ppl to just drop by and answer your question if they truly don't know. If this is as important to you as my case is to me, I'd suggest you put in the time and do some research. I googled "perform additional reviews on your case' and lots of links came up. Read through and see if you can get some ideas. Here's a thread on VJ about that response you got.

Somewhat agree, I don't have definitive answer, however

review could be a name hit or something they want to

recheck...does not mean its a negative, but it can take

a bit longer, but no one can say here the real reason, maybe

your Congress-person could get some in-sight

For me i dont know what to think any more uscis say ( however we have( HAD TO) perform additional reviews on your case) so i dont know if they are saying they already completed the reviews and waiting on the file to be adjudicated, or they still performing reviews. but i thought( HAD TO) means the past. i see some people got service request response back and it say we (HAVE TO) perform additional reviews. and i think(HAVE TO) the present. or is this just a general response they give for service request, so if someone has been thru a service request request and receive the same response please respond because my mind is all over the place.
