Expedite approved at USCIS, now what?

My expedite request for my I-129 was approved. I have not received NOA2 yet. I know that I have to request an expedite at each step but I'm not sure how or when. I've read that you can contact NVC with your USCIS case number and that works. Do I send in my request and proof now or 2 weeks after NOA 2 when NVC should have it? Or do I just contact the embassy directly after I get NOA2? THANKS!

*I am the (female) petitioner, my husband  is an Australian citizen *
