do you get snail mail for RFEs??

i received an rfe back in early January and i mailed them the material they needed and i got an email on January 25th indicating that they have received my RFE material but all i got is an email to confirm this, should i have gotten a snail mail from them about the receipt of the RFE??

Yep, email only for receipt of RFE. Your case status should also be updated to reflect that it's been received and processing resumed.
