NVC Expedite

Good morning!

My request to expedite my husband's case was approved yesterday :joy:

They sent me this email:

Dear Sir/Madam:

"The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: XXXXXXXXXXX filed by JENNIFER XXXXX on behalf of RAFAEL XXXXXXXX

The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case for expedited processing. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Any further questions concerning processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General"

All I had done was chose an agent and paid my AOS fee, I was going to send the packages on Monday, but that is no longer necessary I was told.

Can someone please advise me on what will be happening next.

So they forward your case without you having to submit Financial & Supporting documents straight to the consulate in Santo Dominigo, DR?!

that's what I was told, I would just have to present everything and pay at the interview.

yes I did! I called yesterday just to know what the next step was, and they were vague abt their answer, so I called today again and they told me that my case will be on its way to the consulate very soon!

We are blessed family! None of this could've been done without our faith!!

So my expedite request was approved april 1st. they tranfer the case to the embassy in vietnam. the case get there on the 3rd. i received the interview letter on the 21st april. my interview is on May 7th( may 1, 2, 3 the embasy closed). It will move pretty fast from now on. Congrats!

And you dont have to do anything but wait for the interview letter. everything that you didnt do with nvc you will bring to the interview.

you do need to fill in Ds260 if you didnt do it yet

I have interview scheduled for May 21st!!!!! I called the embassy but they said just to wait until the ceac website said ready, as soon as it did, I called them back and scheduled appointment!! :jest:

You never paid IV or sent papers? I sent my AOS and IV package, but havent paid IV fee yet.

I had already paid my AOS when expedite was approved, then everything got sent to Embassy in DR the next day, so I will be paying for IV at the interview.

My case got expedited too. we paid just the AOS fee.

Can you please tell me how and when did you fill the DS260 form?
