Hi Vj's

I am about to put together my AOS package for my fiancee. Quick question regarding medical. We have her DS 3025 from when she got her shots in VN. Ive read that if the AOS is filed within year of medical exam and we have the DS 3025, we would not need a civil surgeon to complete the i693. Is that true?

K-1 Visa Timeline

I-129F Received : 2014-08-29

NOA1 : 2014-09-03

I-129F NOA2 : 2014-10-07

As long as her DS 3025 says vaccinations complete and her I-693/medical was done within a year of filing for AOS, you should be all set.

Fyi. We didn't see a civil surgeon. Yes the DS 3025 says complete. Will that be sufficient to file the AOS?

If the DS 3025 says complete and the medical was completed and accepted by the embassy during the K-1 process (and was done within the last year), then you're good.

you only need the civil surgeon in the US if you need to redo the I-693. If your I-693 and DS 3025 were complete before entering the US, then there is nothing for you to do with a civil surgeon with AOS
