Administrative processing, what does that means ?

I've checked our visa status(My son's and mine) today on CEAC and it says "Administrative processing"
Creation day was april 16th and the update was april 21. Our visas were approved on april 14th... So what does that means ? Im a little worry... Should it ?

AP is normal, everyone gets it.

Sometimes it's a few hours but it can be days, weeks or months before it changes to issued.

I think it's background checks but I don't know for sure.

But I'm afraid you just have to wait for the time being.

NOA: Approval Notice received 7/2/2015

Interview waiver letter: received 23/2/15 dated: 18/2/2015

Green Card: APPROVED 31/07/2015

(Remember, all my dates are British layout.. the proper layout!)
