Hello! Its been two weeks since my petition was approved April 6. I just was wondering how long is it taking for those with NOA2 recently and had NVC process their petition? I called NVC and they haven't received mine .thanks!

Just keep calling them. Mine just took 7 days. And then less than 5 days to process and it was on its way. I was really surprised how fast they were. K1 visas are expedited through the center. May sure once they receive it, to ask if a case number has been assigned. Then you can track it online. And then the embassy had it in two days.

CSC takes its time sending approved cases to NVC. :) it can take 2 weeks to almost a month. Keep calling them and be ready for the 35 dats spiel. Good luck! :)

Yes, unfortunately CSC takes its time! It took me 40 days to receive my case number, I even ended up putting in a service request with the USCIS after 35 days had passed and NVC still had not received my petition. Good luck!

JJ3, could you please post on here when you get transferred to NVC? I am waiting like you and you were approved one day ahead of me. I called NVC and they gave me the 35 day spiel. I plan on calling again on May 5th or 6th. If you find out earlier, then comment and I will call also. Our petitions are probably in the same batch waiting to be shipped out. This wait time better be saving the American taxpayers money!

JJ3, I called the NVC today and they routed me to a 'specialist' because my case appeared in their system. I couldn't get any info because I forgot his birthday (we don't celebrate), but you may find that your case was transferred too?
