How many time does it takes to get my passport back ?

Hello! Does anybody knows how much time will it take to get my and my son's passport back ? Our visas were approved on April 14th (A k1 for me and a k2 for my son). So it's been like a week after our visas approval and it says that our passport still in the embassy... So, when you think they'll send our passports back ?

Good question! I also want to know when visa will be ready after "Issued" status. I was just about to start this topic! :)

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Guys i've checked the status on CEAC and it says "Administrative processing" What does that means ? Is it bad ? :(

Everyone goes into AP before issued.

No one can tell you how long AP will takes, sometimes it's a few hours but it can be a few days, weeks or months.

I'm afraid you just have to wait.

Has your case been in AP since the interview?

Usually the case goes from AP to Ready then to AP then to Issued.

Did your case say Ready before?

Until the case says Issued the visa won't be ready for pick up.

If you weren't missing anything at the interview usually cases are complete in 3 days...
