I pray your loved ones stay safe

Sadly, unless there is an imminent threat, an expedite is unlikely.

good luck

Call USCIS and let them know you are requesting an expedite of your case. They will give you a list of reasons for expedite, choose the one that best suits your situation and they will have you explain everything to them in detail. After this they will give you a confirmation number for your expedite request and then they will contact you in a few days to let you know if the request was approved or denied.

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

The presence of ISIS alone is not going to cause an expedite unless he is in the firing line. Is he a Christian and is he close to the attacks? Does he work in a religious setting?

ISIS is causing problems in countries like France but I doubt anyone there is getting expedite.

I understand that Isis has attacked more than one place , however, I believe that if our loved ones can be affected by this something could be done. Does it hurt to try? has anyone tried and gotten a denial?

Each case is different. It does not hurt to try, so try. Even if it's denied at least you will know you did everything you could.
