Hi everyone, I have advance parole combo card and wants to visit family and friends IN Canada. I learnt I need a visa. Does anyone know how I can obrain the visiting visa? I tried to call the embassy in DC but they don't receive calls for visa enquiries. this visit is very important and I will be glad if anyone out there with experience can help me out. Thanks.

You can apply online (www.cic.gc.ca), by mail (forms are found online), or via a Visa Application Center
https://www.csc-cvac.com/en-us/selfservice/cvac_welcome

Processing times can be lenghty: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/visitors.asp / once you have your Permanent resident card in hand, you no longer need a visa to visit Canada as a tourist.
