I got this email and I have a few questions about it if anyone can help:

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 16-APR-15.

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

I was wondering if anyone else got this email that has aspouse from Mexico, and does it really take 60 days and if not, how long does it take to get the email or letter about the interview date. I appreciate any help.....

That is your scan date letter (scan date 4/16/15).

Yes, it can take 60 days. When I was doing it, 2 months ago it took 56 days and 69 days. You are lucky though, because they have hired some new people and are taking around 20-35 days these days.

Our documents were received January 20th, our case complete email March 19th (day 58), and received our interview date March 25th. So yes for Mexico it does generally take around 60 days!

Its not country specific, just that at the time you sent it to the NVC it was taking that long. Right now people are getting cases reviewed under 35 days for the most part.
