Hello,

there's a few posts covering this topic already, here's a recent one.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/541220-what-to-bring-at-vac-appointment/

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Thank you so much for answering. I was actually going to PM you but figured it was too early lol

Glad to hear your fiancé's visa is finally out of AP! Praying it gets issued this week so your family can be together soon.

Our interview is Thursday, we are excited but super nervous.

I have a five month old, don't worry I'm always up early lol!

Thank you, the date has been updating each day so I'm crossing my fingers for good news. His bags are packed and I'm just waiting to pick him up from the airport.

Congratulations on your upcoming interview!!! DR processes visas fast so you should have the visa by next week!

Good news! Visa was approved!!!! Yay

Now the only thing that worries me is that they didn't ask for any evidence nor the affidavit of support!

Is this normal?? I had this whole album ready, transcript of whatsapp messages and printed receipts of several resort reservations.

Now im afraid we will get stuck in AP.

Have you heard any news on the passport??

Congrats! If they didn't ask for it then you should be fine. My case creation date updated (this happens before the Issue the visa for K1 visas) so hoping it will changed to issued soon. My fiance's birthday is on Wednesday, if he can fly out for his birthday that would be wonderful! :)

You should have your visa next week too, usually takes three days :)

Now I'm going crazy waiting to get out of AP!!! All it says is created date 4/23 (date of interview) and last update 4/24. I know I should be patient, the interview was only Thursday lol

But until he has passport in hand I won't be at ease.
