What is your favorite meal?

One of my most favorite meals is...aseed, lamb soup aka marag (meat and broth only), helba, zhaag (the spicier the better), salta, and sides of green onions and radish. Delicious!

South Indian Pulao rice and also plain dosa and idlee with peanut chutney…yum yum. Desert gulab jamun and pala kova (thick milk sweet). Now all I need is someone who likes to cook to make it for me!

Andhra Masala Dosa, Gobi manchuri, naan with lamb korma.

Here i would say rice with Green peas(pelau)

gulab jamun, and this one place in Navi mumbai by the train station that serves the best Faluda in India.(IMHO)

Myself: matar-paneer with chapati, fruit-nut pilaf (raisins, cashews, almonds, basmati rice) which is NORTH Indian.

Pras: masala-dosai with saambaar (containing radish, onion and potato) more typically SOUTH Indian.

(and both of us are South Indians)

Can I share that matar paneer and chapati, jeera rice for me though. Ras malai to follow.

Me - fried yak cheese momos with chili(preferably at the Kopan Cafe) and some nice cold lassi, or paneer makhani with rice and some flaky paratha - this will put me to sleep for a week but mmmm good!! For dessert badam barfi or Nepali rice donut(forget what they're called but they're to die for - K gave me a bagfull to nosh on the plane back)

at this moment it is sushi /sashimi , mexican , and just vegetarian fare. any thing sugary or chocolate....does that count as a meal??

Good luck on your immigration journeys. What an interesting message thread, indeed. Yum, I am getting hungry thinking about all that food! In answer to the question, "What is your favouite meal?", my (and my husband's) answer would be:

Homemade Pizza and Spaghetti, followed by Ice Cream and Pie for dessert....

Lol...It doesn't get more simple and American than that, does it? Oh well, it doesn't take much to please us on what to eat for a meal. And no, we're not into exotic foods or odd foods either....
