What a killer this is! We've been working on this for 6 months. I've been missing her morning, noon, and night. My life is a wreck since I had to give it up to do this. Natalia interviews in 6 - 8 hours from now. What kind of CO would deny a visa on St. Valentines day?!? We'll see! Our package is ROCK solid with 9.5 weeks spent together in the past year - all documented 16 ways from Sunday.

We might be able to finally start a normal life soon. Please God, let this happen. Please.

December 30/06 Married!!

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

April 7/07 EAD and AP Received

April 24/07 Interview Scheduled . . . and APPROVED, stamp and all!

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!

February 17/09 Sent I-751 to CSC

February 18/09 NOA1

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

Saying a little prayer for both of you. Hopefully the CO interviewing her will be "in the mood"... to give visa stamp today, of all days :)

My interview is 4 weeks away and I can only imagine excitment and nerves hours before facing the CO. All the best!!!

06 Feb '07 - medical

12 Mar '07 ----- INTERVIEW ----- A P P R O V E D -----

4 Apr '07 - US entry - San Francisco

1 July '07 - MARRIED in SF :)

AOS process (after K-1):

24 July '07 - AOS application received by Chicago Office

09 August '07 - Biometrics appt letter

24 August '07 - RFE for I-485 (incomplete tax info sent!)

28 August '07 - NOA letters for AOS, EAD and AP

29 August '07 - Biometrics

AP - 12 October '07 - hard copy: multiple travel, valid 12 months

EAD - 18 October '07 - hard copy: valid from the date of 1st notice of card production

SSN - 30 October '07 (married name), applied Oct 18, same day I got my EAD

DL - 11 December '07 - driving test at DMV San Francisco. Yay! Now I can drive on the "wrong" side of the road!

thanks, I managed to pull a long shot connection and got the email of the chief of immigration (and instructions for him to help me) at the embassy kellon has to interview at, so he has been answering a ton of annoying questions. so hopefully that will pay off.

i think everything will work out just fine, i'm not really sure what 'fine' means right now, but i think i'll know when it gets here. hahaha

I have the luxury of waiting out the visa application time with my fiance, so it's not so crazy making. I am a peace corps volunteer, so i'm here in grenada until the end of august anyway. I've decided to stop getting frantic over every little piece of information, i just sent in my I-129F and i was already starting to get a nervous tick. but now...taking your lead...i'm listening to Bob and drinking some cheap wine (that's pretty much all you get in the Caribbean)
