It might be different in the UK than in Ireland, but for my medical exam (next week) all I have to bring is my passport and a passport photo. I do need a police cert but that is for the interview.

You need it for a UK medical exam. They give it back, but do keep your wits about you and make sure you have it before leaving. They could get distracted and forget.

You also need four passport size photos for the medical exam. They can be US or UK size.

When booking, they will ask for your LND case number. I don't when NVC gives you that. Not that familiar with details of IR1/CR1 at the NVC. If you have that case number, then nothing is stopping you from booking.

I don't know if they ask CR1s anything different. Make up something if they do. Not sure what the hurry is. I can understand K1s because it must be done before an interview will be scheduled. You are going to get assigned your interview by NVC before your file even gets to London. Make sure you have your shots sorted first. Sometimes it's hard to get into the GP office for shots or immunization record. Schedule that first.

The Knightsbridge doctor may want a report from your NHS doctor if you answer yes about any of the conditions on the medical questionnaire. Exception: smoking, pregnancy. They are basically seeking more information about the diseases/conditions of a more serious nature like heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, depression, asthma, etc, and not a broken arm or ingrown toenail. They will tell you to send them a medical report before they can complete the exam results. Save yourself some delays and take a report to your exam if you have or had any medical conditions or take medications. They want to know full diagnosis, date, cured or ongoing, if it requires medication, etc. Its a letter/report from the doctor, not photocopies of you records. If you are claiming to have suffered from depression, there are some magic words your doctor needs to writeYou are not a threat to yourself or others.

Questionnaire is found in this document http://photos.state.gov/libraries/unitedkingdom/164203/cons-visa/iv018a_medical.pdf

Yeah there is no Rush i suppose, I just don't know how busy they will be that's all. I read that interview dates are normally around 6 weeks from CC and obviously I need it done before then.

Thank you
