Anybody hear of Barlow Girl - Never Alone?

I bought this compilation CD of new artists and this one song, "Never Alone" really stands out - beautiful and sophisticated.

I was curious and I found their website...and here's what it says under their bio...

Barlowgirl has a passion to write songs about the journey that God has taken them on in their lives. Our main topics include trusting God, purity, and our stand on not dating.

Purity- "In a world that constantly bombards us with impurity and immodesty, we feel called to take a stand against what the world is telling us is acceptable. Especially in the area of clothing and modesty."

Not dating- "We believe that God has one perfect man already chosen for us; therefore we have no need to worry ourselves in searching for him. When the time is right we know God will bring us together. In the meantime we are not hiding in a closet avoiding all males. We are still living our lives, just without the pressure of having to have a boyfriend."

Holy Cow! It is worth noting that their mother and father are their managers - so who knows...maybe it's a front.

I suppose so, but it seems a bit hardcore on the other side of the extreme. I have a 16 year old daughter and I hope that does learn a lot about relationships from dating. And I don't believe there is only one person for us...if that were true, widows should never remarry. Love is what we make it, and as magical as it feels when it's true, it's within us and who we choose to love.

I forgot to mention about that part... there only being one person. I don't know what I would say to that. But I really like what you had to say about love... it is within us and who we choose to love. I think love is so much about a choice and of course there is being in love... but you must always choose to love someone I believe. Not that you ever fall out of love with someone, though that too can happen. I guess love just morphs over time and we can experience all that if we choose to love on different levels. Did that even make sense? Thanks for sharing.
