Why? "She" is obviously a troll. A very arrogant one. Did you read both threads? Not only her story sounds outlandish and very strange, she keeps changing it all the time (whether they are together on the photos or not, whether his fiance is muslim or not, whether her sister got married to his fiance's uncle or not). If that doesn't scream "fake" to you, then nothing will.

I know she has been changing the story but I also think you haven't followed along all the way. I don't recall her ever saying he was NOT Muslim and and yeah the whole marriage to the uncle seem consistent.

The bottom line, whether this story is completely legitimate or completely not, this case will have a really tough time getting approved with USCIS and DOS.

OP, if you take anything away from this thread is that your relationship may need to be developed further to pass the scrutiny of the immigration journey. The US government has seen it all before. You will need to do extra work to get the visa.

And by the way, let me recap for eveyone confused by the convoluted sarcasm:

1. Im engaged to the best guy in the world.

2. Despite our cultural differences we know we are soul mates.

3. We will start a family next year as he keeps dreaming he'll have a son born in 2016.

4. All Muslims are not the same. There are multiple sects based on different schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

5. All Christians aren't the same, either.

6. I know a bigot when I smell one.

7. Romance and chivalry are alive and well in my guy's heart.

8. I am excited to marry into an affluent Egyptian family.

9. I have a big family niw which will double in size in a few months!

10.I hope some of you butter souls fjnd someone half as nice as my Basim.

And this is proof of a bona fide relationship to the US Immigration how?? They don't care about this. They want hard proof. Papers, photos. They don't care about the size of your family or that he is dreaming of a son.

Exactly. Im actually not bothered because love repairs all.

I thought love made people nice and sweet.

guess some of you missed that boat.

Thank you Amraha. I think you're the smartest person on this forum.

Everyone posting on here is engaged, or married to, the best guy on the world.

I can't be bothered trying to edit a quoted post on a phone.

Love won't make the adjudicators going through a petition feel a thing. They want to see documented evidence. You don't see them or meet them. Our petitions are case numbers to them. That's all. No human element or emotion whatsoever. There is no love In the service centers.

You can take that to the bank and cash it.

Sadly I think it is real, seen too many similar storylines without the excess drama.

10.I hope some of you butter souls fjnd someone half as nice as my Basim.

1. Really? Everyone here is also engaged or married to the best guy in the world. I know I certainly am. He's quite frankly awesome. My lovely ol' chap and light of my life.

2. Okay, for your sake I hope so. I think God will let you know the answer on that soon, from one believer to another. We don't always like to hear what His thoughts on the matter either, as you should be aware.

3. How exactly would you like for that to happen? Your application as it stands will most likely be denied, and your fiancé can't be in contact distance.

4. Of course, I don't know anyone here that said or implied they were all the same. In fact there's Muslims replying to you in this thread, that I'm sure know this fact, and have explained things to you in a logical manner.

5. No they aren't either. But Muslims and Christians will have to stop standing on balconies and come down and be in the same room, possibly face to face in order to satisfy the US government.

6. I don't quite think you do. There's a lot of assuming going on.

7. I hope so, for his sake. Maybe also for both your parents' sake, cultural differences aside.

8. What's wealth have to do with it?

9. See answer no 3.

10. See answer no 1.

Bottom line: if OP could stop being vague, hostile, and receptive to advice without thinking the world is attacking her (it is not), persons here would be more receptive. I think the answer to the original questions here were answered quite clearly. It's more a matter of will she actually heed it because it's not what she wanted to hear. We all don't like criticism or to be told what we're doing is wrong. But sometimes, it's exactly what is needed. Maybe it's youth. I was young once, and thought I was untouchable. We probably all did. Whatever, this will not get through anyway.
