No interview if case has been forwarded to CSC

Our application for I-485 has been forwarded to CSC. I have heard from some people that in this case mostly the greencard will be issued without an interview. I true is this?

Did anyone has similar experiences?

12/16/2006 - Enter States thru Atlanta

01/13/2007 - Marriage

01/19/2007 - Filed AOS and EAD to Chicago

02/06/2007 - NOA that AOS has been forwarded to CSC

02/12/2007 - Fingerprinting in St. Louis

03/28/2007 - email notification that card production ordered!!!! (Day 68)

04/20/2007 - GC in the mail.....no more USCIS for 2 years!!!!!

12/29/08 - Filed I-751 to VSC

01/12/09 - NOA in mail

01/24/09 - received ASC notice

02/06/09 - biometrics appointment in Orlando

02/09/09 - touch

06/01/09 - approval letter in mail

12/11/09 - Filed N-400 to NSC

12/14/09 - Package arrived at NSC

12/26/09 - NOA in mail

01/22/10 - Fingerprinting in Orlando

03/08/10 - Interview in Orlando (passed)

03/12/10 - Oath Ceremony

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

It is true... congratulations!!

Yipiehh!! Just hope it will not take too long. My husband will be deployed to Germany for 4 months in march. If I am lucky I can go back to Germany together with him or shortly after him!

OH, you will have your GC until march, I'm sure about that. Usually cases get approved in a very short time after being transferred to CA (unless there is a RFE or something but even then it's still fast).

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

03/19/2008 - package sent to TSC, let's hope for the best

03/20/2008 - check cashed

03/26/2008 - case sent to Vermont Service Center

04/17/2008 - Biometrics scheduled

05/19/2008 - received I551 extension stamp via INFOPASS

02/12/2009 - APPROVED

02/21/2009 - GC received...no mistakes...valid until 2019

Don't make bets on it, though. Some of us have been sitting at CSC for months.

P.S. Check out the CSC transfer thread. It'll give you an idea of what timelines look like at CSC. Some speed through blindingly fast, and some linger.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.
