Had a large storm come through Lexington about 2 hours ago. Rained so hard I couldn't see across the street, and the gutters couldn't keep up. I've got a small river running through my backyard now. Some lightning probably struck about 1000 feet down the street as well. We're looking at a pretty good chance of severe storms tomorrow as well. I love this stuff!

Well....I just went through ANOTHER tornado today!!!! I just got back home from my parents house. I went there because they have a basement, but did NOT have room in the garage for my car. Well....seems the neighbors trampoline, the side of my car and the front of my parents house got in a fight! I have no windows on the side of my car and the front of my parents home is a mess. Actually ALL the neighbors houses are a mess! Hopefully this pic of the hail will show up well. The roofs of the houses were all covered with hail...looked like snow!

Look at the size of those babies!

Amy you sure have had two days of bad weather. Take care and stay safe. Today it was in the muggy 80s here and now breeze is picking up.

LOL...I just got off the phone with my cousins in Alabama. I told them I was moving to the south with them after the past couple of days. They had to add that they get the booger storms too. ;)

Yeah, we get them booger storms here too...I'm in Georgia. We get thunderstorms sometimes with winds that can almost rival a tornado. We get hail. We also have humidity....god awful humidity. But come on down! You might like the south! :D

Oh, I absolutely LOVE the south! In fact most of my family is from the south in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. :star: I think because I'm close to my parents and they are here is what makes me stay. BUT with the way they have been acting lately, I may just change my mind about that soon. ;)

Sigh...family can be just as trying as this damned process! I won't have any family at our wedding, but you know, its their loss. :) The friends I've made since I moved here will be all the family I'll need. :)

I could never get used to the blizzards and endless freezing winters of the East Coast.... And today is "warm", folks, it's like "summer": what 60 degrees? :hehe:
