Hi guys,

I need help. Our priority date is September 9th 2013. The case was complete since March 2014. My wife (the beneficiary) gave birth on December 5th 2014. I requested to add the child since February this year. Its only last week that NVC sent me an invoice to pay the fees. I paid the fees on 4/28/2015, filled the DS 260 and sent all documents pertaining the child.

I wonder if they would get us an interview date this June?

My PD Sep,26,2013

I called NVC that my wife is pregnant and what should I do when baby come. The representative told me if case still at NVC so I've to send birth certificate and pay iv fee for child but if case complete I've to contact with the US embassy in my country.

My wife gave birth middle of April,2015 then I called to tell them that they said my case is complete and told them my wife delivered the baby. Another one said I don't know you might have to contact with the US embassy.

I read that member here same as us and she contacted the US embassy in her country and she is dealing with them not NVC.

At that time if you got your baby and the PD is current wait until you get your I/L and then contact your embassy, if the embassy asked you to send the supporting documents to them before the interview that would better for you because it still reduce the additional processing time after the interview, if the embassy asked you to bring the supporting documents for your new baby on the interview day it's ok but you have to wait more additional processing time after the interview to get the visas issued. Good luck.

Ok peeps,

Not sure if this is encouraging but on a certain spanish forum ( I dont speak nor read spanish so i translated with Google translate) someone with F2B category got IL. See the link below;

The name is stephaniemedina
I hope it brings hope. Cheers

Hahaha Shadowfelx, u even read information from spanish forums....well i guess it's because your priority date is almost current. For me, sometime I can't care less. At times, the thought of this PD attempts to bring sadness. However, I have decided to remain happy. I don't even check the PD anymore. I only receive encouragement from reading people's successful interview, knowing mine will come very soon. for now, my focus is how to move on with my life.....

Hi guys, maybe my question would be irrelevant to this thread, but i really need some help. I am a bit confused? My husband is green card holder, awaiting his citizenship interview. He filed for I-130 for me, our priority date is 2nd december 2013. Our case was apprived on 6th february 2014. But nothing after that? We got the the case number in march after several requests. Since then no progress in nvc steps. Im guessing my priority date should be current by july or august.. and my case is not even complete :( When the priority date becomes current, should we have our case completed at nvc? and is this when the interview is scheduled? please help. Lol now i am considering spanish as extra language. Yea i know how you feel about the PD issue. If you look at my signature you would have an idea of how pained i was when the retrogression hit last year. I mean, i was just a day away from being current and for about 6 or 8 months the Current date never changed. When it finally changed, it was a retrogression...poof! Then it started moving again slowly till now that my PD became current. 80 percent of the people i met on this thread have long migrated and probably forgotten about this forum. One key thing is to understand that, definitely, your turn will come!

When is your PD?

7abeby ya Kimo I don't know how long but by default its 60 days but may be it would be shorter. I will try to call them today again and I will keep you posted.

Additional processing you will find a link for that on the US embassy in Egypt website.
