Are you sure it's the OF230I and not the DS230I Biographic Data?

I filled out the forms for packet 3 for my fiance and then scanned them to him. He printed out the info and signed his name. He does not speak English and it was easier for us this way. (A friend of ours - who is bilingual - in Brazil helped him).

I'm filling out the forms for the interview too - he gives me the information and I complete the documents - I don't mind and it keeps me busy as we wait.

I got a letter stating i am missing of230i. what is this?

Same question asked over in the K1 forum. Maybe a newbie at USCIS mistakenly RFE'ed some applications not knowing they were the same? Strange..

I think it depends. The packet 3 information that my fiance got has all of them listed as OF 230, OF 156 and OF 156K (for DS 230, DS 156, DS 156K). The OF stands for "Optional Form" and I *think* that is because they may not necessarily be given out with the packets (not sure, but thats what I think).
