Labeling photocopies included in K1 packet

Hi everyone!

How did you all label your photocopies of items such as engagement ring receipts, chat logs, emails, boarding passes, passport stamps, etc..? Did you write directly on the photocopies of what it was or did you use post-it notes for that?

I wrote directly on the paper and gave them numbers and annotations to correspond with my cover letter.

I converted all of the pictures, documents etc into PDF files. Then I was able to label everything as necessary without having to write on them and then scan again. This worked so well for me.

Post-it notes will fall off. Write or type captions directly onto the photocopies

I wrote on the photocopies. I photocopied the receipts and then wrote what it was under the receipts. For the pictures, I wrote on the back of them and then taped them onto a piece of paper and wrote underneath the picture what the date was and what was taking place/who was in the photo and then put them in sheet protectors.

No you are over thinking this process. Just make first page that say "Proof Of Meeting"

Don't over complicate things

I am an expert on getting K1's approvals....

Are you just starting the process, getting ready to file the I-129F petition? For that you only need evidence of having met in person within the pass two years, chat logs, engagement ring receipts, emails are not need until later at the embassy.

You do need copies of passport stamps , boarding passes and photos of you two together.

You can notate directly on the copies, no issue.

That's correct, I'm getting ready to file my I-129 petition. Following the k1 guide, I also wanted to provide proof of an on-going relationship even though it is optional at this stage.

Front-loading is not necessary but it is recommended. I front-loaded, as did many other people on here.

Actually, everything does need to be labeled. What good does a cover sheet do if things get misplaced or lost?

Mm that's twice today...

Nothing needs to be labelled.

If they want to, then they can, nothing is stopping them.

I labelled nothing, the only thing I wrote on were our passport photos and that was just our names.

Many people don't label to no consequence.

I printed pictures on regular papers (and not photo papers), and hand wrote...

1) location

2) date

3) content of the picture (in terms of who they are...like family, friends, etc.)
