I had just called as well..

I was told that my level 1 also had no clue this happened or why.

He did say that he could not give me a timeframe due to an overwhelming about of overload at NSC.

He told me it is going by case to case and they are working as fast at they can.

I wonder if the day will come where NSC will be as fast as CSC

.. i would love for the reason to be that the USC filers are being transferred somewhere for a quicker process, but as someone commented earlier in this forum, it says that if the category is not up on the "processing times"-Schedule-thingy, it means that they are hoping to adjudicate the applications within 6 months... But I dont know. Let's all pray together!

I searched the website and I don't see where it says anything about six months if it's not listed. The only thing it says is if they are meeting their deadline it will show 5 months. I am soooo tempted to call again but I think I'll wait till next week. I know there are a lot of routing changes made in the last few weeks to address the backlogs so I'm praying and crossing every finger and toe in hopes that this is a good thing that will get him home sooner.

that's what my husband and i said last night. but it doesnt make this any less frustrating, especially since my husband is in the military and serving their country, and it's like that doesn't matter to them, if my husband is to be deployed and we get an expedite, i will still be separated from him for another year on deployment. it drives me crazy! am glad we have here to vent

Do you know if your husband is being deployed or you are just it as an if? The only reason I ask is because if they know they are being deployed, I believe you can submit an expedite based on that. Just wanted to offer a little help if it does help.

2015-10-16: Received email for scan date of 2015-10-12. Told that basically nothing can be done and we need to wait 30 days from 2015-10-12 (30+ days lost because they lost our emails)

2015-10-26: Told case is basically complete but that they are building my electronic file. Told there is no timeline for this.

2015-10-30 & 2015-11-13: Still told no update. Building electronic file still and no timeline.

2015-11-17: Case Complete

2015-12-03: Receive packet 4

2015-12-15: Medical

2015-12-18: Medical picked up results

2016-01-12: Interview - Approved!

:) thanks, he isn't being deployed, but I was just saying, he could be picked to be deployed (his brother is currently deployed) and even if we did an expedite in that case, I'd still not have much time together with my husband. I'm just saying that they shouldn't have to wait till a military personnel is being deployed to expedite their cases

Talk to uscis today and was told they were working on OCT 22, 2014 files , and was able to do a service call since my scan date was on OCT22, 2014.

hmm, i'm gonna call them tomorrow and see if they give me the same answer, they are always giving mixed answers but i really hope you get approved this week :)

They posted an update to the processing times yesterday. The i-130 is now showing for USC now and still shows 5 months.
