Met again in Baton Rouge, LA March 25, 2005 - 2 souls feel as 1

Sept 17-Oct 3, 2005 Noura goes to Morocco to meet family & friends of Said (informally engaged)

Daily phonecalls, discover internet chatting w/ video cam - OMG!!!

March 25-April 14, 2006 Noura's 2nd trip to Morocco - formal engagement w/ family

April 24, 2006- mailed in K1 Visa package - TSC

Oct 5, 2006 - Interview SUCCESS

Oct 12, 2006 - Called to pick up visa tomorrow!

Oct. 16, 2006 VISA IN HAND!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

Almost 2 hours..no call..... :unsure:

Probably just chit chattin' with immigration. does he know to dial the 1 and then the area code and all that? I freaked in London when I couldn't call anyone 'cause I didn't know the international code calling from London to US or to Egypt!!! Took me an hour to figure it out and meanwhile everyone was stressing out wondering if my plane had made it!

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

Darlin, I KNOW how you're feeling but you just hang loose. All is well. My Moh didn't know how to contact me after POE. He didn't call for 4 hours and then it was on a borrowed cell phone and I got maybe 30 seconds before it failed and then nothing for 3 more hours. But he made it. The POE part of this is by far the scariest in my opinion, but believe me, he'll be calling you as soon as he can. We're here for you while you white knuckle your way through the last wee little bit of discomfort. It'll all be good soon enough.

I'm sure he'll feel the heat of the glaring eyes here shortly and figure it out...Jean was kind enough to share the prozac..will try to relax until work is done...another 1hour and 15 min..nothing else to count down at the moment....might as well count work minutes. :unsure: Ring phone RING!!!! :ranting: Some other poor newbie is going to come along and see this and freak OUT...pay no attention to the crazy woman behind the curtain...it will all be over soon...protect your small children from the sight lest they be scared forever... :devil:

Maggie - The suspense has me at the edge of my seat!!! I'm sure everything is fine but my heart is racing for you too! haha it was just over a year ago when I was doing the same thing! I'm sure everything is just fine. Youssef's first comment when he called me was "WOW there's a lot of glass here......" LOL

I can see that comment being very true, just imagine, where they are coming from at Casa you have to walk to the plane (or the small carrier) and then the sometimes first flight. I might have even said that also :whistle: since that was my first time in NYC, it was quite an experience.
