I received my K3 from Vancouver Consulate in mid-December. I am going for my AOS appointment in Dallas through the DORA program in 2 weeks and my question is-

Can I use a sealed copy of my Medical Exam that was done for my K3 Visa and use it for Adjusting my Status? It is a I-693 and I have my Vaccination records- so does anyone know the answer? No guesses or assumptions please- I have had enough of those in the last week.

Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status. (If you already have this from your overseas Visa Interview submit a copy that medical check form; No fee is required in this case. If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement (I-693A), not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.)

There is a specific reference for the K1 but nowhere else can I find a reference for the K3 that is 100% undeniable.

Hi. I am also a K3 and arrived here in the US last Dec 2006. I applied for my Adjustment of Status just this January at OKlahoma City through the Distric Office Rapid Adjudication program (DORA). As for my vaccination supplement that the I-485 form requires, I went to Concentra at OKC (200 Quadrum Drive, OKC 73108) and had my vaccination records transferred from DS-3025 to Form I-693A. Check your copy of the vaccination worksheet, it should say DS-3025 in the bottom left part. If you don't have this form given to you and had your vaccinations in the US instead, you can just also bring these vaccination records to the civil surgeon as proof that you had those vaccines.

The key here is finding a civil surgeon that will transfer your vaccination records from DS-3025 or any other form of vaccination record to the I-693 A form. I was in California before I moved to Oklahoma and I could not find a single civil surgeon who is willing to transfer the information to the I-693A form. All of them require that I undergo AGAIN the physical exam (which is expensive!). Luckily for me, I found one who is willing to do it here in OKC (someone from VJ gave me the doctor's name and number and I just called up to check and inquire). Depending on the location, the cost for transferring the info could range from $25-150. I only paid $25.

I hope this helps.
