By the way, has anyone of you submitted an affidavit of support before you fiancee flew to US?

Affidavit of Support should be provided by the petitioner for beneficiary's interview at the consulate. It will show that the petitioner is capable of supporting the beneficiary upon entering US.

Thanks mae...so affidavit will only be needed upon my interview...what could be the reason of denial of the petition? any idea?

Jeng, it's also a good idea to fill in your timeline on this site. After you do that it will provide you with an estimated adjudicated date. Even though it's just an estimation, they are pretty close.

chad, how ironic...my fiance's name is chad too, he is from florida...i am from manila, philippines. u wont believe it but we have been together for almost 5 years now...5 years away from each other but seen each other twice..in 2002 and 2004...there are just moments of ups and downs but we are now here...ready for the process..hope it turns out well...worth the waiting.

I filed in October, never touched and got my NOA2 in January ... It is your turn now!!!... NOA 2 is on the printer, or already left the building...

Did it said anything on that "touching" thing? Any notes about the nature of the activity? I"m just curious...

2007-02-28 - Visa Interview - VISA in hand ...

2007-04-22 - We broke up

2007-06-16 - Decided to give the 2nd chance

Correct me if I am wrong, aren't you supposed to have met within the last two years of filling your 129f?

Correct me if I am wrong, aren't you supposed to have met within the last two years of filling your 129f?

Right...it is one of the requirements...to meet within 2 years from filing the 129F....it worries us...we filed it slightly beyond 2 years (2 months)...2 yrs is sept 2006, we filed november 2006. however, it says there that we just need to explain why the 2 yr requirement wont be applicable to us....we explained...we attached a letter! nevertheless, we met twice already...we have been lovers for almost 5 years already..i hope they will consider it. we established the love and the relationship with that...so pls pray for us...i hope it wont matter a lot just because of the 2 months beyond the 2 yrs.

I am keeping my fingers crossed. I want your fiance to come along with the rest of my friend's fiances to Casa. You are the last one of my friends on my list. You will get the NOA2 this week without and RFEs. :thumbs::star:

nice to hear that there are people who are on the same board as ours...i am from manila too...yeah..this website is so helpful..i wish i could have seen this already before we filed the papers but i believe we have everything in order...we're just worried on the 2 year requirement...please pray for us....we've been away from each other for almost 3 years now...i cant wait to finally be with him....
