Hey..I am new here...just got registered....my fiance filed the I-129F in November too...we got the NOA1 on Nov 28, 2006...we havent heard anything yet since then...according to USCIS...our case is still pending..is this true? based on what ive been seeing here..it seems that the processing with your cases are so fast...ours is in the California Service Center, although we sent it to Texas Service Center.

Do u think guys, we're almost there?

By the way, what do u mean when you say "touched"?

Goodluck to us.

i would say you are close jeng, it seems like more and more november filers are getting noa2s. Good luck to you!

Being touch means the "last updated date" has changed at the uscis web-site, be sure the emails are turned on.

The last one who received an approval has NOA1 date of Nov. 21, 2006... If you say yours is Nov. 28, I think you're pretty close. Let's just hope that you got everything in order and won't have to receive RFE. Since Nebraska and Texas don't process K1 anymore, all cases filed there are forwarded to California. As for the "touched" that's the last date they updated or checked on your case...

Hang in there... They're working on November filers so you'll probably get yours before Feb ends (I hope!)

Good luck!

Mae

Thanks for all the encouragement guys! Im glad to find a confidante here...my fiance and I do not have an idea on our case...we just relied to USCIS website...and from there it says that as of Jan 17, 2007, they are processing with receipt notice date of July 17, 2006...so we think that ours will only get processed in may or june 2007, which i think is so long compared to most of the cases ive seen here.

well..how do i know the last date they have updated or checked our case? per uscis website, it says that our case is just received and pending...

hmmm..i really pray that we get an approval by end of Feb...that will be great.

by the way, has anyone from you submitted an affidavit of support or anything before it was approved?

Jeng, if you haven't already, go to the uscis web site and create a portfolio, entering the requested information. Once you do that, go to the email settings and make sure the notifications are turned on. You will see "last updated" and it will have a date. If that date changes then they touched your case.

Jeng, it's also a good idea to fill in your timeline on this site. After you do that it will provide you with an estimated adjudicated date. Even though it's just an estimation, they are pretty close.

Affidavit of Support should be provided by the petitioner for beneficiary's interview at the consulate. It will show that the petitioner is capable of supporting the beneficiary upon entering US.
