Just an FYI: just because the USCIS updates the status and say they've sent the file doesn't mean it's actually gone. Mine updated less than an hour after the approval but it was still over 2 weeks to get to the NVC. Mail isn't that slow. ;)

Give it at least 2 weeks to get to the NVC then start calling. After the receive the file it can take 14-45 days to get a case number.

I just called NVC they have recieved my case but they don't have a case number for me yet. USCIS still say "case was approved".

Call in 6 days they will have ur case number.. Got luck!
