Random... just share what you know. I figure limit it to one word/phrase so others can contribute.

In Maroc it may be slightly different, but there core is the same 'Hebk' ... in Algerie and Tunezia it is N'hebk.... (and my personal favourite: N'mout Eliik /I will die for you...that is BIG TIME love right there)

Now can anyone say "Do you love me?'

Moroccans usually say "tanmout alik" or "kanmout alik" for I will die for you (first syllable depends on the region).

Bessahtek = to your health (said after a bath/shower/haircut, etc)

Wooooooooohoooooooooot one more post and we have a hot topic

Noura: IN Algerie, they say Sa'ahdek (instead of Bessahtek) but basically the same. Reply would be Lei Siilmik.

Also if someone does something for you, instead of thank you or chukran, it's Saha

Sahbi-my friend

Sidi- honour given to old respected men, meaning my master ( Allah alliik ya Sidi )

Two other ways to say "you're welcome"

la shukran ala wajib - literally, don't thank me for my duty

blajmil -- literally, without honor
