If you've amended your tax return, you'd be better off by sending in the amended return. Get the transcripts online - albeit not mandatory, the USCIS and US consulates prefer them over thickets of tax forms.

I believe the transcripts are available as soon as the amendment is processed. I'm not sure though.

do we wait for IRS to approve and process amended tax return before sending to NVC?

any help would be appreciated...

thanks

Hey, you don't have to wait for IRS to process the return as long as you are sending NVC the same amended return verison you filed with IRS. You also dont have to wait for IRS to process your return transcript. You can just send NVC amended return and W-2.

thanks, I would just mail document to NVC tomorrow. IRS is taking time currently to process amendments.

Yep, cause waiting for IRS to process amended return is gonna take while, and you don't want to wait to send NVC docs as they are currently reviewing docs pretty fast.
