Yeah boiler is right about the two AP. I'm in the other AP. The background checks and who even knows what. Not the getting your visa and paperwork ready AP. It's been three weeks already and my case hasn't even been updated once.

And it's lucky your fiance could visit multiple times. It makes it a bit easier being so far away. I tried to visit last December but was denied. I'm thinking to apply for another tourist visa and maybe visit before Eid (it's looking more like he would not have the visa by then)

I have a question I have applied k-1 visa ( if any one has other category visa also share experience regarding AP) How long is AP STATUS being updated on CEAC website ??

By saying that I mean I know it has to be in AP for several weeks ,months etc. but if the date changes often on CEAC website under AP STATUS ,is it a good sign & if some one know Or have experience to share that normally after how many date changing ..they finally see their status changed from AP to either APPROVED /DENIED ??

My status didn't change for three months. Then It updated and updated and then the case creation date changed. The next day after this, they changed the status to issued and my then fiance got his visa in around a week.

Three months of AP. It was updated a few times and then a couple of days later the case creation date changed. Then it was issued. Seems like before it was ready to be issued, we didn't get any updates.

Guys don't need to be worried , my took few days but my embassy was London and situation varies from a person to person .. InshaAllah your AP will change soon.

Alhamdulillah I have received email to collect my passport wish you all the best guys , good luck .. It you need any information feel free to ask .

My wife had her interview on October 20th

They told her they are approving her and took her passport.

However, as of today 11/7, she hasnt received the passport and online still says administrative processing.

I did email them but no reply and yes its been more than 10 days since I contacted them since I gave them 10 days to reply.

Not sure what I should do or if anyone else has had this happen to them.
