USTravelDocs passport tracker confusion...

Okay I'm thoroughly confused and could use some answers.

My fiancé brought the needed documents on Monday to the drop off location. That afternoon on Monday CEAC updated as well as USTravelDocs. The status on USTravelDocs said "your passport is being delivered to post", I called to ask what this means and was told it means the passport is being delivered to the embassy (isn't it already there?) and that it will update soon. Today it updated to "Your passport is still with the embassy/consulate" --STILL? So it was there all along?

I'm so confused! What is post? Why would it "still" be there if it was being delivered there?

Thank you for assisting!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

Just out of curiosity, have you called the Mailboxes etc number and given them the UID number to see if it's there already? (Not the passport number!)

When I was searching like crazy for any information, a few people said the status never changed on ustraveldocs and their passport was at the location.

It doesn't hurt to try (and I know it hurts when you don't get the answer you want.) Call them up and get a person on the line.

And tell them it's for an immigrant visa, not residential!

Not familiar with Mailboxes, do you have a link or number? Thank you for responding. You are already finished and could've forgotten about me but haven't :)

Dial the number, get a person on the line. It's slightly different from the USA number. Once you get a person, ask about your VISA and tell them it's an immigration, not residential visa, and your UID number. Teléfono: 829-956-5144

The UID is on the top right of the ustraveldocs website, after you log in, next to your email address.
