Looka....it's 9 o'clock already.....

For this same reason, I don't take a lot of people fishing. They'll ruin every fishing trip. And the people that I do take, I don't wait for them. They're given a departure time the night before, the boat sails with or without them.

I hate waiting for ppl too. If you say you will be here at 8am then don't make me wait till 10am before you show up. Also why I don't ask ppl for anything.

Yup oldest looked into it at one point, not sure why but he did.

Youngest doesn't wan't to do underwater welding. I was hoping he would do crane operator, backhoe or dump trucks. But he's 17 so he will probably change his mind a bit more.

question - how long did it take you guys from signing the closing docs to receiving your keys?

loan documents were received by them on tuesday, we signed on thursday evening and escrow at first told us monday we'd get our keys. now we've heard that they might need a few more days?

just wanna know if this is a common timeline.

There's only 1. Stack-on.

I loaded a pic of the thing with guns in it in PB.

Most times here, keys upon closing. Unless other stipulations exists otherwise.

We received keys at closing. We had to go to a local title company and sign all the documentation (my husband signed more as he was on the loan) and were given keys after everything was signed. We met the old owners at this point as well.

from what i understand part of the delay is that escrow is out of state, so it takes time for the papers to get to them. and then in WA, recording takes another day. but i still don't get why it would take longer than monday. sigh. :(

i feel like a broken record...

Recording the title happens days, weeks, after closing. You take possession of the property when the seller is paid in full at closing.

I don't know what kind of escrow you're talking about.....

And I really don't know why it's an out of state company.

in WA, you only get the keys after recording.
