Scuttlebutt has it that Rafael Correa, President-for-life of Ecu, has sold the Galapagos Islands to China, or at least is using them as collateral for bailouts, grrr man.

Many Chinese automobiles being seen in Ecu.

Correa has also decreed a Many% (2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2+2+2+1%) tax on "luxury" items (meaning anything beyond food, or including food too), the receipts for which shall go to pay for his weekly presidential addresses from various Ecu locales, to which he drags the TV crews and his entire entourage, grrr man.
