Not always do we choose when to get pregnant. We can avoid it as much as possible but occasionally it sneaks up on you and a harder choice is made; not once but twice. Heck choosing to become pregnant may be a life changing decision for your offspring as well... lord only knows what kind of genetic defects you may give them. But people do not see it that way, just how badly they want a child and do anything they can to make it happen.

I can think of many more things that are unjust when it comes to social welfare.

Like our clown mayor here. It's not good enough that we feed and clothe them, but he says they have to have the same schools, same doctors, same housing, he calls it social inequality. And they should all get the same things as say, my kid.

i think we will have to agree to disagree that just because someone is poor, that their right to raise a family should be taken away. there are many ways to live a life, but ultimately it is up to the kid what they choose to make of the life they are given. adversity can build incredible strength of character.
