08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

i think in the US, there are merits to being a single mom on paper lol. i had a client who referred to the man who came with her as her husband, and more than once has told us he's the kid's dad. but because i did the billing, i know the feds have her down as a single mom and only her income/work hours are taken into account. she pays $15/mth for full time childcare and the guy drives a bmw lol.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!
