06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Not even a rant, but an observation, part of Monday end-report see man:

Dinner consisted of an oval casserole dish filled with rice, lentils, and chicken patties separately, Many items man.

We like lentils but they dislike us, uffff man.

Not one of the components had the slightest hint of moistness or even moisture at all, sigh man.

Lentils have semi-bitten us in the stomach, sigh man.

However, tax refund was adjusted for us in our favor by $Many, $urpri$e man.

Pre-Tuesday report, pre-see man:

Will not be on during usual noontime, no man.

Am taking delinquent POTSs-buyer to court for nonpayment of orders, sue man.

Film at Many (2x2x2+2+1), see man.

Mornin', Commie- and other babes with refulgent +1 inventories!

so, the house loan has been sent to the underwriter, and we were assured documents would be sent to escrow by wednesday. i don't know whether to have faith in anything my loan officer says anymore, so all i can do is hope and pray it works out. our lease ends on saturday. i have no idea what kind of timeframe we're looking at, i did look at some real estate forums and compared timelines but they are all so different. as far as i can tell, no one has gone from underwriting to closing in under a week though. :( and in the homebuyer's class jonas went to, they said keys will not be exchanged at closing, the funds have to be held overnight before the keys can be handed over. feel like i'm growing a year older with every day that passes and i don't hear from the loan officer.
