There's no such thing as quality in China. You can't get a Chinese made faucet that'll go 10 years. Or 5 years without leaking. That's just the way it is over there now.

You're talking about a country that can't even control the quality of the formula that it's babies are getting. Even when they are aware of the problem.

Oh man 8, I can talk to you all day and all week about that. The easiest way to answer you right now is with 2 questions.

1- the qing dynasty. The end of it. What's the difference between the era then, and the era now?

2- 1989. What was everyone saying about Japan? Then what happened?

Issues in China. I'll discuss it in depth of you'd like.

Labor force, lots of young ones supporting many old ones.

Corruption- no voting= officials do whatever they want.

Foreign policies, they steal everything, everyone's ideas and IP. No one want to deal with them.

Unpopularimage, no one wants to buy made in China.(do you?)

Greed, profit margin high, wages high= competition from emerging economies. Poland can produce a higher quality computer for less money.

Underhanded business practice, they don't honor their contracts.

Money exiting, their rich don't want to leave their money in China.

Shadow banking, an entire economy propelled on non existent monies.

Observation of common materials, commodities, suggest China is actually doing much worst than it portrays, which brings us to...

Transparency, there is none. There's only 1 source of information coming from China.

Corruption= the govt is not looking out for the people. And that's how the qing dynasty was. And that's how the qing dynasty fell. You want to build on a toxic site? No problem.

You want that village vacated for your mercury plant, easy. Etc....

1989 is when the Japanese economy started to collapse, and has remained stagnant to date. In the 80s, everyone spoke of Japan the way they speak of China now. Worse yet, the magnitude of China's collapse will dwarf the Japan one.

In the qing dynasty, the officials were corrupt. People didn't starve. The government seemed stable. The law can be bought. There were no elections.

Back to China. For 4 decades, the one child policy was enforced. Nite, you have a bunch of 30,40,50 year olds supporting their parents, grandparents, etc...it's catching up to China.

Brain drain. The best scholars and intellects, engineers, doctors, etc, all managed to find roads to other countries. Why?

All those mainland that can find a way abroad to have a foreign born child, why? Do you go out of your way to have your child born in China?
