It sucks but yes keep everything from this point on. Document every little thing he does to interfere with your time.

With no court order neither of you really have custody, and either one could refuse to let the other get her till the other goes to court. Don't do that with being out of Canada, but do get in touch with a lawyer to see what your next step is. I don' know if never married would make a difference either. ANd he could use the she left us bit but you kept contact so that won't work.

It's dirty and it's been done, get a good attorney

Yeah i gotta convince her because it was her choice to live there initially which is why she is there. I won't force her to live here no matter how much of an ####### he's being to me.

If she didn't want to move and you don't want to force her you need to protect your relationship with her.

He needs to be forced to keep your visitation, it's hurting your relationship with your daughter. The older she gets the harder it will be.

You will be taking her time away from her friends, dating, and so many more excuses to the point you will may never get to see her. Then one day she is going to hear how you can't be bothered.

Not trying to say this is what is next just it could and at the very least if you have a court order you can enforce your time.

I am scared that's how it will go down. The stupiest part is he's always willing to pay for her plane ticket if I go up to see my mom vs her coming to visit me. The only thing that makes me think he would like that is because then my husband isn't around and it's another control issue. He doesn't even see his control issues.

She didn't really have fun last summer because we were in OKC. But I thought she'd like having her own room. I wish we'd had a house by then but we didn't. Now we do and it's a different story because she has her own room and stuff. I think she likes it here. I'm going to take her to the local pool, the Butterfly Pavillion, Botanic Gardens, Water World, and other fun stuff. Now all of that will be squished into 2 weeks instead of 4.

Add on top that she seemed to LOVE camping. I want to do that too while she's here. I was planning on her being here from mid July to mid August to allow for camps or time with her dad in between because I know she wanted to spend time. But she told me earlier this year she wanted to be here vs going to camps all summer.

Anyway you can push the issue to keep her all summer?

Anyway to guilt trip him? Or say how great it would be for him and his girlfriend to have some alone time since he doesn't get that chance through out the year.

Plus it's his own fault for backing out of the agreed month. I don't know if he is just used to you doing what he says and he thinks he can get away with it. But if you stood up and told him to bad so sad I'm getting her for the month what would happen?

Maybe take a side trip with her Nik.

Rent a car, drive to the grand canyon.

Bring her to NYC, I'll feed her lobsters!
