07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Closeout Thursday closeout report, see man:

Left office at Many:Many to go to casa to sleep, need zzz man.

POTSs quota met via transfer of some of Wednesday's intake, bookkeeping matter man.

Drove casa-ward through heavy rain, build an ark man.

Mrs. T-B. permitted us a long nap, amazing she man.

We popped an antihistamine and antibiotic, kill the little beesties man.

We napped for 2+ hours, with cat, we and miu zzz man.

MIni-B. barged in to ask if we wanted to play with him, wee man.

Played some with Mini-B., inventive wee mind man.

Went to Aldi Foods, first time in a while man.

Got $Many worth of stuff, including two bags of cheaps, ingest man.

Used a $Many-off-a-$Many-purchase coupon, whee man.

Claimed windfall of half a buck from unreturned carts outside*, we're rich man.

*To get a cart, stick a quarter in; to get it back, rehook cart to others, see man.

Nearly fell asleep on drive casa-ward, need more zzz man.

Have almost fallen asleep throughout composition of two posts, need more zzz man.

Have prophylactically eaten most of a bag of Aldi cheaps, try to stay awake man.

Will try to patronize two or Many GSs tomorrow, if feeling better man.

Cat prep zzz man.

You know I just read a post and was totally confused? Turns out my head was adding extra and lots of extras to the topic! Now the post makes so much more sense with out all the extras!

I sitll don't know what I'm making for supper, but if the oldest doesn't work tonight I might make fish! Beer batter cod sounds good!

3- at the seminar again, and the speaker today is at least 30-50 times more boring than tarklar....

You studied American Lit in Singrapore?

The school decides which books are suitable teaching material for English Literature.

We also studied "Sing to the Dawn", "The Clay Marble" by Mingfong Ho, and Shakespeare "Merchant of Venice".

I took the compulsory English Lit for 2 years then switched to Chinese Lit.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC
