So what has your wife been doing all these while?

Sitting around eating bonbons while watching soap operas and probably wearing pink fuzzy bunny-slippers, sigh man.

And, I have about a Many dinner invitations between now and next Saturday...

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Actually, WCG (World's Cheapest Gringo) has done and recommends that, si man. He says that it takes 2 or sometimes Many trips around the store to get a filling dinner-equivalent, si man.

Sigh, man: Today is the Many'rd anniversary of having had to euthanize the old cat, still miss her miu man.

New cat is currently on lap, being soft & juicy (Mini-B.'s term for "corpulent"), purring, occasionally head-butting us, and lashing us with her muscular tail, miu man. Maybe she knows, miu man.

Friday Wrap-Report, wrap-artist man:

Made weekly POTSs quota through adrenaline-charged surge, overcome day off man.

Decent casa-ward commute, needed man.

Only cat at home when we arrived, miu man.

Attempted nap, attempted zzz man.

Not a chance for us, but cat successful, no we zzz miu zzz man.

Intended to dish the warsher, but no man.

Mrs. T-B. crammed it full with "dishes to let dry," old habits she man.

We both miss Mama-Mrs.-T-B., re-Ecuadored senior she man.

Sister #2 drove Many (2x2x2) hours on Ecu roads to chauffeur Mama-Mrs.-T-B., she man.

Everyone delighted with the "gringo stuff" brought back, treasure trove man.

Plethora of GSs/MSs/ESs on schedule Saturday, whee man.

However, must be back at casa by 2 p.m. for Mother's Day caucus, we man.

Must also mow lawn before next week's forecast continuous torrential rain, wet man.

Cat prep zzz man.
