Hey tiff wasnt this the one we lent your sister? What happened to it? I do not recall it looking like this when we had it.

Sit ans stare at SIL while she gets more and more defensive, picks up her kids and leaves.

I learned a lot about this kind of thing from my ex's family. Any direct question lead to tears or denial, but talking about someone when they were there or making a "joke" was perfectly acceptable.

Tiff adores this kid, tho not as much as she did before. She has to see for herself. One day she will. I'm not the only one that don't like him.

To my surprise, tiff did not blindly defend this kid this time. She didn't criticize the kid, but she didn't defend him. It's a start.

Well, I did say "why do you think no one ever invites him anywhere?"

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Awoke in guarded pain, ouch man.

Prepped for Aunt T-B.'s big birthday party, venerable she ma'am.

Took brood + Mama T-B. to party, party down man.

Very nice party, si man.

Returned to casa and took nap on heating-pad, much-needed man.

Awoke in almost no pain, glee man.

Warshed 2 remaining laundry lods, sick of laundry man.

Total LLs for weekend = Many (2x2x2), record man.

Read book to Mini-B., wee man.

Played Wrappers with overjoyed cat, miu man.

Made first 2 lunches of week, job of husband man.

Preventively dished the warsher, must de-dish man.

Falling asleep at keyboard, zzz man.

Therefore cannot interact with lovely, intelligent Asia, oj nie.

De-dish cat prep zzz man.
