I'm surprised none of these companies in the USA do sale week before/week after.

In every other retail place i've worked you at least got sale week after. So if you wan to buy something and missed the sale by a week, they still give you the sale price (who cares right? it's a sale!) At Canadian tire they had week before as well so if was going on sale NEXT week, a manager could give it to you for that price provided it wasn't a limited time item or wasn't street dated (like many electronics are.)

should be back in singapore tomorrow hopefully.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Saturday & GS reports, see man:

Awoke at o'dark-Many but kept hitting tap-nap button, repeat mini-zzz man.

Finally lurched upright, vertical man.

Mrs. T-B. awakened in time to accompany us to nearest GS, she and we man.

GS was nearly within walking distance, but not man.

Mini-B. accompanied us, wee and she and we man.

Mrs. T-B. went loca at this excellent GS, she man.

The take, see man:

-- 11 blouses, 1 L/S dress-shirt, Many (2+2+1) ties, 2 Mini-B. books, Fisher-Price car ramp

for Mini-B. = $Many ($2x2x2x2+[2x2x2-1]), huge haul man.

We missed drop-off time for same-day dry-cleaning pickup, them's the breaks man.

Mrs. T-B. asked us to take passé Mini-B. furniture to donation shop, she man.

We loaded the T-B.-mobile with same, sweaty grunting we man.

It being before shop's opening, we proceeded on GS itinerary, intrepidly man.

Was pleasant mix of itinerary GSs and drive-by GSs, whoopee man.

The take, see man:

-- large truck for Mini-B. = $1, delighted wee man

-- Many (2+2+1) nice shirts for Mini-B. = $Many ($2+1), swayvee & deboner wee man

-- Lightning McQueen fuzzy slippers for Mini-B. = $1, overjoyed wee man

-- 2 bath-towels + full box of bandage strips = $2, fair man

We got call from Mrs. T-B. to take Mama-Mrs.-T-B. & Mini-B. to lunch, ingest man.

We got to casa and warshed kitchen rags, Laundry Load #1 man.

We took aforementioned brood to Arby's, intending liberal use of coupons, deals man.

Mama-Mrs.-T-B. had a Market turkey/Swiss sandwich, senior she enjoyed man.

Mini-B. had half a beefroast sandwich & curly fries with ketchup, satisfied wee man.

We had two beefroast-&-Swiss sandwiches, gooey man.

Total bill = just over $Many ($2x2x2+2+2), deal man.

Everyone was very well pleased, ingest man.

We took Wrapper home for future use with cat, miu man.

The extra Market sandwich was enjoyed later by Mrs. T-B., surprised she man.

We then spent an hour playing on floor with Mini-B., awaiting the erranding Mrs. T-B., she man.

We started LL #2 and then went out on regular errands, we man.

Traffic, red lights, & tortoise-speed drivers were murderous, grrr man.

Guy ahead in a Camaro never exceeded Many mph, isn't that a muscle-car grrr man.

Upon return to casa, we dryered LL #2 and began LL #Many, industrious man.

Brood was gone to swimming pool, wet brood man.

We watched part of early TV news + weather report, inspect man.

Upon brood's return, Mrs. T-B. wanted us to order Delivery pizza, unprecedented man.

Mrs. T-B. recruited us to fix casa gutters, ladder screws & drill man.

Mrs. T-B. stood on ladder in place of us, unbalanced individual we man.

Mrs. T-B. deftly replaced worthless old screws, drill man.

Pizza arrived during this process, race inside for money man.

Upon ended job, we folded LL #2, dryered LL #Many, & warshered #Many, bad timing man.

We got all the cold pizza that we could eat, ingest Major Food Group man.

After this, we needed a shower, phew man.

It was half an hour before sunset, looming western horizon man.

We decided to mow front lawn, no time to lose man.

Mowed lawn and leaf-blew clippings before sun set, efficient man.

No mosquitoes or hormigas del fuego, neither man.

Took much-needed shower, de-stink man.

Folded LL #Many, dryered LL #Many, & warshered LL #Many, double hat-trick man.

Dished the warsher, all our silverware dratted Ecuatorianas man.

Folded LL #Many and dryered LL #Many, husband's work is never done man.

Folded LL #Many, enough for tonight man.

Corpulent, sleeping cat now occupies lap, warm fluffy miu zzz man.

We have nearly fallen asleep Many times during composition of this opus, near-zzz man.

Upon awakening of cat, de-dish cat prep zzz man.

Except that our legs are asleep from weight of cat, lower-limb zzz man.

Sunday = Many'th birthday party of Aunt T-B., venerable she man.

Shall wrangle remaining two LLs around index event, resourcefulness man.

Mornin', Commie- and other babes with refulgent +1 inventories!
