06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Not telling. If you find it, or someone reports it, that's fine... but I'm sure as heck not turning myself in. It's bad enough i can't say what I WANT to say to people because I'd likely get booted off VJ all together. Wrap-Friday wrap-report, wrap-artist man:

Made weekly POTSs quota, whee man.

Easy casa-ward commute, blessing man.

Got hairs cut, all shorn man.

Bought Easter candy at Many% (2x2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2x2-2-2-2]%) off, Dollar General man.

At casa, Mrs. T-B. in foul mood, uh-oh man.

Mrs. T-B. had all of Mini-B.'s baby stuff in garage and on front porch, uh-oh man.

Mrs. T-B. couldn't sell any and wanted it curbside for scavengers, financial loss man.

We convinced her to at least donate them, delayed deduction man.

Casa temperature set at Ecu comfort levels, sweltering man.

Has been daily collusion between two Ecus, she and senior she man.

Colluding Ecus have turned on A/C in prep for our daily arrivals, self-preservation man.

However, A/C wouldn't turn on, no man.

Downstairs temperature Many degrees F., soupy man.

Upstairs temperature Many,000 degrees F., heat rises man.

We change batteries in thermostat, no effect man.

We check circuit-breaker, no effect man.

We call knowledgeable neighbor for troubleshooting, shoot trouble man.

Neighbor asks if anyone was up in attic, forensics man.

Mrs. T-B. had been wreaking havoc up there, coincidence man.

Neighbor suggests checking switch on A/C unit, shoot trouble man.

A/C comes on, glory be man.

A/C now firmly set at gringo comfort level, freeze out the Ecus man.

Tax-appraisals for casas arrive, big annual thrill man.

Both amounts have risen by (literally) a great $Many,000, outrageous man.

Live-in casa's appraisal up $Many,000 ($2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2]), no way man.

County Appraisal District never approves appeals, cheap illegitimates man.

Will probably have to sell rental casa because can't afford tax, sigh man.

Many GSs advertised for Saturday, many man.

Weather to be glorious, Texas Many Nueva York Zero man.

However, Mrs. T-B. wants us at casa to "do casa stuff," She Who Must Be Obeyed man.

We shall pursue truncated GS route and placatingly return thereafter, sigh man.

Must do Sunday laundry on Saturday anyway, family function Sunday man.

This all rather sucks, sigh man.

Heavily sleeping cat prep zzz man.

Checked my bank account and a bunch of money had left. I got excited and thought maybe CSC cashed my check! Nope. Just hubs paying the mortgage; which is obviously more than my ROC check but it's early and I didn't do math in my head. Why? Because math.


On a different note, my little mind used to giggle every time I passed a truck from this oil well service company in Alberta. The name of the company was BJ Services. So it was always big burly men driving around in these trucks. *snickers*

So, I go to the gap yesterday, but the sale is in 2 days.

I go to BJ's, and the camera that I wanted isn't on sale till tomorrow....

I'm a day early and a dollar long.....
