I almost never make breakfast. Plus normally it's just the two little ones awake and they don't eat much.

On the weekends, I always make pancakes for my daughter :)

And bacon, but lately she's lost the taste for bacon.....I think she realizes where it comes from, and she loves peppa pig....

I wish we had a cracker barrel closer than 1 hour away.

Well, you have a cracker laying next to you in bed.....

all you need is the barrel :)

Speaking of cracker, I went to Walgreens, bought a dollars worth of stuff, and found out my Google wallet is suspended. Called up to find out that it's because of the suspicious activity I triggered when I used it to pay for the safe and other stuff at BJ's.......

I don't care for the place, seems to lack in flavour here.

Just watched a great documentary - "Just eat it. A food waste movie."

Great movie!

I try not to waste food and I'm really proud I'm able to not waste it :D

I saw that movie before, we don't normally have much food waste. I recycle everything that I can I even got another bin from the city. They are like 70 gallon bins and come in handy.

We, as a whole country are very wasteful.....

And speaking of wastes large and small, where's Tarklar........

The movie was about food wasting in Canada, if I remember correctly.

How the shops are throwing food away, for example fruits when they don't look excellent.

There were a lot of good food being thrown away, cause they can't sell it for a half price or something...

The pair who decided to not buy food for 6 months and instead to go through garbages behind the shops/malls or something similar, ended the whole adventure with more food than they could eat. Food like yogurts were originally packed and all.

Once they found a couple of boxes with good chocolates. It was thrown away, because it didn't have a label in French.

That's just one example :)

For 6 months they've spent $200 for food, and they found food worth $20,000.

Impressive, isn't it? :)

I've only tried the one in Colorado Springs and it's great. But then, I get the same thing every time. LOL

At least you know that the food you get will be good. Especially since you're such a picky eater!

There is a local BBQ restaurant that we go to and I always order ribs. I used to order a 1/2 rack and then something else but I figured out I like the ribs part the best so now I just order a full rack of ribs (which is only $13.99.) They're melt in your mouth good. Quite simply the best ribs I've ever had in my life. Hubs complains about prices and portion size in Canada, but I find portion size far too big down here (when everyone is leaving your restaurant with a to-go bag, you serve too much!) but I do get the price thing complaint. You'd have to go to a steakhouse to get a rack of ribs in Alberta and it would cost you at least $25 and be not nearly as awesome!

Sometimes I try new things at restaurants but sometimes we go to a restaurant just because a particular meal there is good.

now that i've edited twice.. i'm going to get my glasses. LOL
