Texas Service Center?

Hello everybody I am wondering one thing and it doesnt make me any sense, according to these websites ( http://www.visajourney.com/content/times, https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do ) While CSC is processing March 12 2015, TSC is processing 4 September 2014. Does anybody have any idea why is TCS is that behind? Our case was received on 2 February 2015 and got our NOA1 a few days later even tho we sent our case in September 2014 they said they somehow lost our case and could find only in February but anyway when I look at CSC and if our case was sent to CSC our case could have been being processed now and it makes me sad about it... Anyway I was wondering why they are that behind and any possibility we might hear something in a few months if we consider that you hear something in around 3 months after your NOA1. I would appreciate if anybody knows anything about it share with us. Have a good day tnx.

TSC seems to be processing September petitions right now. I wouldn't even know where to start about the processing time differences between the two service centers, but it's possibly the most heavily discussed topic on this section of the forum.

There's a fantastic group of September filers sharing their progress, supporting each other while waiting and offering advice on this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/517086-k1-september-2014-filers-tsc/page-99

Our petition took 224 days to get through TSC to receiving our NOA2, but there is sunshine on the horizon for you. September approvals are under way.

It looks like it will take 7 months also but what is really annoying about it we sent in September but they got in February coz of their fault but we have to face the outcomes... so from February to 7 months away it looks like we will hear something in September...

I'm so sorry you are going through this. One thing worse than this experience, is enduring the experience alone. Join the thread so you can keep up to date with the latest news and progress. TSC is currently transferring some petitions to CSC which we are hoping will reduce the current wait times (which are utterly ridiculous). Nothing about this system is fair.

How did the petition get mislaid? September to February is a long time for it to be 'lost' :/

Do you have evidence of the loss? If their fault you could do a request for expedite based on Service Center Processing/Handling error

If I were you I would absolutely try for an expedite and provide your delivery proof. That is unacceptable.

This is a "huge" subject almost every night.

I wish there was something we, the public could do, but the director of USCIS, recently said, "there is no difference in the approval times,

at the two service centers".,..,. and we all know that is a load of #######.

I wish there was something, we the public could do!

Plus their answer was funny when he asked why csc was so far ahead of them they said we are not in a such competition I find it funny at least... lol

Not a competition? Just goes to show how they think. They don't see that people paying the same amount for the same service and getting drastically different results (that, in turn, cost them more time and money and interfere with their real lives) is the problem? Not "how they look" or "who is fastest". Grr.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

Call back and try again.

See the expedite criteria at the link below. USCIS error is one of the criteria. I'd say holding a petition for 5 months before issuing noa1 is uscis error. Have electronic versions of your noa1 and delivery receipt ready to email.
