We're going through a lawyer.. yeah, didn't know about VJ till after signing the contract.. but anyhow, once our Case # and Invoice ID# were assigned, both AOS and IV fees were invoiced together, and thus appeared available for payment on CEAC.

In your DIY case, the IV fee should be invoiced sometime after NVC accepts your DS-261; which, going by your timeline, should be hopefully soon.

Good luck.

Not sure how you were told 45 review days. I just waited over 65 days for a review upon documents the NVC received in January of this year from myself. After getting the dreaded letter to update and resend something, which they received just last week, yesterday I received the notice that says I will wait 60 plus days for yet another review. And to add to the confusion when they asked me to update and resend X document, that letter said once they receive the updated item I would wait 60 plus business days. So which is it.... 60 calendar days or 60 business days?

Frankly, I've never had the luck of getting a review time-frame of less then 60 plus days. And they always seem to take above 60 days to actually do the review. In fact, it's gotten to the point that if they reviewed my documents in less then 60 days I might faint.

I-130 received Nov. 2013

There are people waiting from February to be scheduled interviews. We think that they're pooling their resources to focus on document review and that this I having an impact on the assignment of interview dates. Just thought I'd give a heads up to those just now getting their case completes.

Now chronicling my experience in handy blog format at
