that is absolutely RI-DIC-U-LOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! looking at a few of their timelines you see, not only are they getting approved before the remaining April filers.........but they're getting approved in like 35 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so unfair! i'm so sorry for all that this is happening :( USCIS really needs to re-visit this whole approval process and get their butts organized!!!!!!!!!!!!! here's to (still) hoping that you all get some good news this week!

It sure is ridiculous. I really don't know what could be the reason for it to be this delayed. I thought our petition was super simple.

That is so frustrating, I have no idea what they are doing over there. If they had a little transparency to the process maybe it would add some understanding, but to just leave everyone hanging and watching others blast right through is crazy.

I'm with you all the way on that! I will send mine in today or tomorrow and hope for the best.

Yeah you're absolutely right. Or maybe if they would give you a little more information when you're calling.

My fiance wants to write a letter to a congressman, not to request an inquiry for the case (since it's not 5 months yet ... :sleepy: ) , but merely just to complain about their system.

Met in person: September 2013

OMG !!! I received my NOA2 last night. I am over joyed but I still do not forgive USCIS for their incompetence when dealing with IMBs. They need to rewrite the instructions for the I-129f and make a list of all non-IMB online dating sites. Lots of unnecessary RFEs going out. Good luck to those still waiting.

Congratulations!!

OUT OF THE REMAINING APRIL FILIERS WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEIR NOA-2, HAS ANYONE WRITTEN A LETTER TO THEIR CONGRESSMAN FOR ASSISTANCE?

I called them this morning, as I do every Friday morning on my way to work....

I expressed my fustration on how the system works, I explained that there a number of applications that came through after me and are getting approved or an RFE, and how the LUD is still 4-14......

She told me the LUD will be like that, and as long as it says that your fine, there's nothing wrong with your case, no holds.

She said to me that often times the hold up is with the security check on the beneficiary.....

If that's really the case it kinda makes sense, unfortuantly he's in Lebanon, but then again I see lots of people

who are applying from the middle east and it doesn't take that long.

I'm confused, I thought they do the check on the beneficicary at the interview process.

I thought the security check is on me.

Anyone know about this process?

I got the same bulls^%! answer when I called earlier this week. And that bulls^%! answer about a security check, that's a good one. .I'm in the same boat as you. I was figuring that because Lei is coming from a communist country, that their government might not be so fast to co-operate with our government. Then I look at others that have gotten theirs from China, and I speak to her and she tells me that other people in her visa group in China have gotten theirs -then the frustration sets in. Totally unfair.

Just mailed my RFE, it's back to crossing fingers and hoping!

I tried to figure out the reason behind why some were faster than others and never found a pattern. I used to think it was country specific, but then I saw others whiz right by me. Plus Myrie is in Germany and she is one of the longest as well now. It's just a crazy process and in today's electronic age we can't do better than this. Wishing everyone luck!

They received mine on the 17th so it's back to the waiting game again. I hope we get a speedy response. The average response for RFE's is about 9 days but I'm not holding my breath lol. Best wishes to all!!

After I hung up with them I thought the same, it's so stupid. FBI/security check doesn't take that long, I think 72 hours turn around time, unless something comes up. I think it's maybe a handful of us who are still waiting.....

Some of these can go fast, some can go slow. I saw one here yesterday that was only 4 days, I talked with someone else who waited 55 days, so you don't know! Hope you hear soon and it's all good news!

Yeah I don't see a reason why cases should be held up a lot longer than others. Two of the other German April filers who posted here too got theirs over a month earlier already.

I think they're trying to make up a reason for their broken system, hiding that some cases just simply sit in boxes for like ever until they decide to get to it.

And if you ask me, waiting 5 months until you can submit a case inquiry is just plain bs.

What if 5 months have passed, you submit your inquiry and it turns out they lost your file? Like wow. And I'm sure it's happened before. Nobody can give you that time back.

Had a security check done on me last week for my job and it came back OK in less than a week, so that is definitely BS!!

And Myrie, its because it's a German thing

My fiancee just contacted the office of a representative and a senator to look into our case.

We can't take any of this any longer.

Good idea. Maybe with a little heat from above some changes will come about. More transparency and consistency with their workers. I would love to know the truth on why some cases have very late approvals when they are almost identical to all other cases from that country. Best of luck and keep us informed.

Hopefully this will help speed up the process. We will keep you posted...
