Thanks. Did you guys reply to the RFE yet?

Not yet, I'm hoping to get it out on Friday. Tanya is sending me a signed letter, but has to get it scanned to send back to me, so waiting on that. I did a lot of the work and research on it already, so shouldn't take too much more polish and bs. Once I do that I will be back to checking the USCIS website again. I feel like I am having withdrawal symptoms not checking it multiple times a day.

Our NOA1 date was 4/29 (Received 4/27; Notice 4/29). After they updated the site, it now shows May 4th.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Might be a bit too early to make calls to congressmen and the like, as the "Official" time is 5 months. It's a bit worrying that it seems they've forgotten about us, since the majority of approvals on VJ have been may filers for the past 2 weeks. :(

My NOA1 date was 4/27, the site showed an update on May 5th before I got my NOA2. I got my NOA2 on June 2nd, and then it showed that on May 1st, the alien registration number was updated (as in they gave my fiance an alien registration number) and that it was inputted into the system May 5th.

Before recieving the NOA2 though, it didn't show exactly what that update was on May 5th. If your Fiance has never had an alien registration number, that could be what your update was.

As for the congressman, yes, it's waaaay to early. If you're at CSC then on their site it says an AVERAGE of five months. That means there will always be some longer and some shorter, but it also means that it allows them to simply say "If you haven't heard from USCIS by <DATE> please contact us again". They're going to expect everyone to wait until August for NOA2 at the max, for those filed in April.

Hi All.

Greetings from a fellow April filer.

I contacted the Embassy via e-mail requesting that the Packet 3 be sent to me via e-mail since my fiancée has not yet received it. It's been a month sent NVC sent it to the embassy.

The Embassy e-mailed me back with the following.

We appreciate your communication to this support desk. Upon verification, we noticed that your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time.
You can verify the status of your case by following this link https://ceac.state.g...AKjMWCuebHqOw==.

Sincerely,
GSS Program for the US Embassy

I know I'm supposed to wait for packet 3 prior to scheduling an interview. This e-mail seems to be saying otherwise. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

It happened to us too. Our NOA1 date was April 3 (received date: april 21, notication: april 23). But when the site was updated it shows april 28th which is also the LUD.

I understand how you feel. They have been approving May filers and we are left wondering what happened to ours. I think they select a few to wait much longer than the rest.. ? hope not.?

In the Philippines, we dont have to wait for Packet 3. As soon as we have the case number, we can already schedule the interview.

I believe it differs per country? You can check more discussions about your query by following this link

OMG !!! I received my NOA2 last night. I am over joyed but I still do not forgive USCIS for their incompetence when dealing with IMBs. They need to rewrite the instructions for the I-129f and make a list of all non-IMB online dating sites. Lots of unnecessary RFEs going out. Good luck to those still waiting.

Well atleast there still working on some of the April filers and havent left us all in the USCIS Sinkhole. Hoping our NOA2 wont be far behind as they sent me a text saying they received the info for the RFE. And yes they should do a little research on there end so the IMBRA RFE's would be reduced. ohh but wait...Goverment :protest: dayuumm i forgot for a second there...They dont use common sense... lol. Fingers crossed for those of us still waiting on the NOA2's :goofy:

That is so frustrating, I have no idea what they are doing over there. If they had a little transparency to the process maybe it would add some understanding, but to just leave everyone hanging and watching others blast right through is crazy.

I'm with you all the way on that! I will send mine in today or tomorrow and hope for the best.
