I am so ready to be done with distance. I'm not sure if it has hit me yet that this weekend was the last time I had to fly to California and return to Canada. Next time I'll be going to stay! It feels so surreal!

Edit: just checked my timeline too and it has changed from May 2-6 to April 30-May 3rd!

I am planning to visit my fiancé in June too, hopefully "visit" for the last time!! Although I make a 10 hour drive to him in NJ instead of fly :P

Hello fellow Canadian,

Another fellow Canadian->Californian! I'm with you!! I felt the same way last time I left California to go back to Canada!! Good luck to you :)

Not Canadian obviously but I felt the same way when I came home from the US. It was the most surreal feeling and actually made me super emotional. Little things at home are starting to make me emotional now though. We had an annual war veterans service the other day that my dad marches in and I cried the whole way though because I realised it's probably the last one I'll see. Such a ridiculously emotional time.

Yeah, mine still says "case was received," but I've seen so many people with the same problem as you. USCIS works in mysterious ways...

I check the current NOA1s being processed every day as soon as I wake up in the morning and I was STOKED to see it was already at March 29th this morning! Yesterday was March 26th! April here we come! :dancing:
